(March 31, 2015) Love building with LEGOs? Get together and create with others who like them too! The Library is hosting a LEGO Day during Minerva Local Schools Spring Break on Thursday, April 2 from 2:00-3:30 pm.Our large assortment of LEGO blocks will be available for imaginative builders to use that afternoon in the Community Room on the library's lower level. This entertaining activity is designed for ages 6 and up. Parents are encouraged to attend. Because space is limited, registration is required. Stop at the Youth Desk to sign up or call 330-868-4101 and ask for Youth Services.
Test your skills against other Hunger Games fans on Saturday, November 15, 2014 from 2:00-3:30 as Minerva Public Library hosts a Hunger Games Mockingjay Fan Jam. Join us for games, crafts, snacks, trivia and other fun. Enter to win exciting... Hunger Games prizes including movie tickets for the opening weekend showing of Mockingjay, Part 1. Dress like your favorite tribute or wear your most outlandish Capitol clothing. The Salvation Army Angel tree is up and ready. Angel tags may be taken from the tree and the unwrapped presents and Angel tags returned to the library by December 10th.

(January 5, 2015) Do you love building with LEGOs? Come in out of the blustery cold and join us on the lower level of the library on Saturday afternoon, January 10 from 2:00 to 3:30. You will have fun creating with our collection of blocks along side others who love LEGOs too! Presented for children Kindergarten and up. Parents or a caregiver are encouraged to attend as well. The library is closed Monday, January 19, in observance of the Martin Luther King, Jr. birthday holiday. No library materials are due on any day that the library is closed.
Due to the bad weather this morning, the library will open at noon today rather than 10:00 am. The library will remain open until 8:00 pm this evening.
