Local Author Sue Lytle--Saturday, December 26, 2:00 pm

So it’s the day after Christmas and you’re wondering what to do.  Get out of the house and head to the Library to meet author and Minerva area native Sue Lytle.  Sue will be speaking about her novel, Chicken Stock, in the Fireside Reading Room at 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 26. Her new novel speaks to rural America’s struggle against corporate agriculture through the eyes of one woman—a wife and young mother—catapulted unwillingly to the front lines by her husband’s dying words: “Promise me, Berta, promise me you’ll keep the farm going.”  This program is free and no registration is required.
