This unique presentation features never before seen photographs of the McKinley Monument under construction, drawn from the Museum's archival collection. It begins with a brief overview of William McKinley's life and career as the 25th President of the United States. Christopher Kenney, Director of Education at the McKinley Museum, chronicles the building process from beginning to end, and explains
the symbolism of the architectural details of this magnificent tribute to the assassinated President. The lecture also includes two rare film clips of the President's funeral train.
