(July 1, 2013) You won't want to miss our Book Blast Summer Reading Program, Friday, July 5, 12-1 pm for children 4 years old through 4th grade. FREE LUNCH FOR ALL KIDS will be served beginning at 11:45. Kids will enjoy a story while eating plus a fun & exciting special guest! This week, our very own science sleuth, Kathy Heller, will demonstrate various science projects and activities. Yes, you can try these at home!
When children sign up for Book Blast at the Youth Desk, they are given a Book Blast Reading Record. They receive a sticker to place in their Reading Record for each book checked out of the library Each five books checked out means a chance to win weekly prizes! Parents and grandparents are encouraged to attend. Children 7 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Help us celebrate 100 years of reading at Minerva Public Library
