(June 27, 2013) You won't want to miss our Book Blast Summer Reading Program, Friday, June 28, 12-1 pm for children 4 years old through 4 th grade. FREE LUNCH FOR ALL KIDS will be served beginning at 11:45. Kids will enjoy a story while eating plus a fun & exciting special guest! Our guest this week comes from the Akron Fossils & Science Center presenting "Museum in a Backpack" featuring fossils and dinosaur bones.
When children sign up for Book Blast at the Youth Desk, they are given a Book Blast Reading Record. They receive a sticker to place in their Reading Record for each book checked out of the library Each five books checked out means a chance to win weekly prizes! Parents and grandparents are encouraged to attend. Children 7 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Help us celebrate 100 years of reading at Minerva Public Library
