The library is closed today as a furlough day without pay fo r all library staff.  This closed day is the second of five furlough days all staff will take in 2011 as part of the library's measures to reduc e spending in expectation of receiving no more than the reduced fundi ng from the State of Ohio received in 2010.

The Minerva Public Library Board of Trustees will hold its r egular monthly meeting in the Library's Board Room.  This month's mee ting is held one week earlier than usual so as not to conflict with a visitfrom the Stark County Commissioners scheduled for the evening of April 27.
