(February 6, 2012) The library has a good supply of the federal 1040, 1040A, and 1040EZ forms and instructions, and related schedules, as well as the Ohio IT1040, IT1040EX, and SD1040 forms and instructions. All these forms are free for you to pick up. A binder of reproducible federal forms is available for photocopying. And the library has posted links to additional federal and state tax forms.

VanZante from the NASA Glenn Research Center will talk about exploring the solar system, including the possibility of colonizing other planets, and whether life might be found on a distant moon. (January 18, 2012) Due to overcast skies and rain, the stargazing session scheduled for this evening has been cancelled. We are undaunted and will try again later. Weather permitting, the Wilderness Center Astronomy Club will bring their telescopes and their expertise to the library on Monday, January 23 for an outdoor star gazing session. If the sky is clear, we'll be looking up. Stop by for guided tour of the winter sky. Hot chocolate will be served. If it's cloudy, we'll try again another evening.
(January 9, 2012) The library will be closed Monday, January 16 as a day of mandatory unpaid leave for all library staff. This is the first of five furlough days staff will take this year as a cost-saving measure. No library materials checked out at the Minerva Public Library are due on any day that the library is closed.
